About Shildon Town Team

Shildon Town Team was founded in 2022..  We are extremely proud of all we have achieved so far, and continue to develop and improve for the benefit of future generations.
As a Town team we want to create a positive influence and lead by example.  We will foster a "can do attitude" and build relationships wherever we can.

Our Town Team is action focused and will take reasonable responsibility in doing what we can to improve our town.  We will deliver actions, events and projects that will benefit our community.

We are independent and we will not advocate or align with political parties or candidates, however we will work closely and constructively with them for the benefit of Shildon and its residents. We will work closely with the Town Council as a statutory body as it is here to support the community of Shildon by working in partnership with local organisations.  I believe we have the same ambitions which helps create a stronger sense of place. 

Our Town Team is ran by volunteers who give up their own time for the community - we are a team ran by the community for our community.  If you would like to know more or get involved please get in touch!
